What you will be doing:The General Manager (GM) - Global Water is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of the operating plan for the Global Water division. Serving as a member of the leadership team, the GM will oversee forecasting, P&L management, SIOP management, and set ambitious goals to achieve 2x market growth. The GM is responsible for maintaining a customer focused culture, fostering innovation, and ensuring we grow our competitive edge in the industry.
Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and cross-functional partners, will be essential in this role. This role requires a dynamic leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of navigating complex challenges and driving impactful results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
Forecasting and Planning:
- Develop and implement accurate forecasting models using market trends, customer inputs, analytics to drive business performance.
- Lead the development of annual and long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and objectives.
- Participate in the development of corporate strategy, applying functional expertise to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas and insights.
- Develop and lead robust Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet customer demand.
P&L Management:
- Develop strategies to increase revenue while controlling costs, balancing short-term performance with long-term sustainability.
- Ensure the achievement of financial targets and manage the P&L to drive profitability and growth.
- Implementing and optimizing processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that operations align with financial goals.
Set Stretch Goals:
- Set ambitious, stretch goals aimed at achieving 2x market growth.
- Drive the organization towards achieving these goals through effective execution and accountability.
- Foster innovative strategies that contribute to customer and market success.
