About the Position

As Vice President, Technology Integration & Innovation, you will join a dynamic business transformation team leading Bridgeway Connects through our next stage of growth. You will be responsible for understanding how a varying set of stakeholders (freight agents, brokers, dispatchers, drivers, etc.) use our Transportation Management System and developing a cohesive strategy to integrate our systems and implement new technologies that drive revenue growth or process automation. Candidates with experience implementing AI and automation technologies into freight operations (quoting, order entry, carrier sourcing, dispatch, etc.) are ideal candidates.

Responsibilities:.
  • Technology Strategy Development & Execution: Assess existing Bridgeway systems supporting transportation operations and build a roadmap to incorporate new technologies that generate a return on investment through revenue growth or cost reduction.
  • System Integrations: Partner closely with the IT organization to manage the consolidation to a single TMS instance. This will include the migration of acquired entities as well as existing users on legacy instances
  • Vendor Selection & Management: Lead efforts to source and evaluate technology vendors. Facilitate the process to determine business requirements, build business cases for investment, onboard vendors and manage performance throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
  • Project Management and Prioritization: Partner with IT to help prioritize development requests and continually groom the portfolio of development projects supporting the enterprise Transformation
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for applied technologies to ensure adoption and value capture.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the transportation industry at either brokerages or motor carriers preferred
  • Experience implementing freight technology used to automate quoting, load building, carrier sourcing, and dispatch operations
  • Experience implementing back-office automation technologies (e.g., RPA, OCR, etc.) to drive process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Excellent data analytics skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building KPI dashboards
  • Ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and to drive change through influence
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
