Our client is a PE firm focused exclusively on founder and family-owned businesses. The firm seeks to invest in companies operating in consumer & retail, healthcare, niche manufacturing, technology, business services, and value-added distribution sector firms based in the United States & Canada.

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a VP Investments who will drive strategic expansion by independently sourcing and leading significant deal processes from inception to closure. With a proven track record in LMM, founder-led businesses across services, consumer, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, the ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience and a sharp focus on impactful deal-making that aligns with the firm's growth objectives and cultural ethos. Your role will focus on:

• Deal sourcing
• Deal leadership and execution
• Portfolio company integration

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

• You are a first or second-year VP Investments at a similar firm, with a demonstrable track record of leading and closing deals in the LMM space from soup to nuts.
• You have owned and led add-ons (completely) and platform transactions (with senior support and oversight).
• Your deal experience has mainly been with targets whose revenues exceed $20M or more
• You have deep sectoral expertise across services, consumer, manufacturing, and distribution, with a keen analytical eye for identifying high-potential investment opportunities.
• You have strong underwriting skills and overall deal structuring skills.
• You have a track record of driving value creation within portfolio companies.
• IMPORTANT - you thrive in a culture of low ego and high engagement.

COMPENSATION

• $175K-$200K + 100% bonus + carry
