The VP, IT Enterprise Solutions will spearhead efforts to harness the full potential of CRI's data and enterprise platforms, driving innovation and growth across the enterprise. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can craft a vision that leverages data, emerging technologies, and AI to transform the business. As a resident expert in data, enterprise platforms, and AI, the VP will define and execute data architecture strategies, establish governance practices, and introduce cutting-edge technologies to unlock current and future opportunities. This position is integral to shaping the CRI's data and technology landscape and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies while fostering collaboration with leaders across all lines of business.

As a member of the Technology Leadership Team (TLT), the VP will work closely with business and IT leaders to achieve business goals while delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required. Master's degree preferred and at least 15 years of experience architecting, designing, and developing large-scale data solutions using both relational and non-relational technologies.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
  • Deep expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
  • Proven experience with cloud technology and modernization from on-premises solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI/ML models for operational and analytical purposes.
  • Advanced knowledge of data architecture principles, data governance best practices, and modern cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Generative AI and its application to business processes.
  • Proficiency with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and articulate a forward-looking vision for data services, enterprise platforms, and emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Design and implement a unified data framework and enterprise data architecture to leverage internal and external data sources effectively.
  • Establish and lead data governance, quality, management, literacy, compliance, and master data management initiatives in partnership with business leaders.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for business transformation and innovation.
  • Provide enterprise-wide data platforms and services that enable automation, advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for the application of AI and data best practices.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation.
  • Develop and maintain an operating model with clear roles and accountability for data solution creation and support.
  • Ensure the operational excellence and reliability of all data products and services.
  • Communicate engineering capacity, velocity, and prioritization effectively while coaching teams and business stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technical experts, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability.
  • Actively contribute to the IT Leadership Team, setting strategic direction, optimizing resources, and balancing investments to support enterprise priorities.
