Description:

Spherion is seeking a Vice President of Coastal, Environmental, and Water Resources to lead our company's efforts in these critical areas. This executive role reports directly to the President and oversees teams in Baton Rouge, LA, and Irvine, CA while managing federal, state, local, and private-sector projects.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Salary: $165K - $190K (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday, 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM (Additional hours as needed)

Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all coastal, environmental, and water resource initiatives
Direct and prepare Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, and planning documentation
Manage project budgets, profitability, and schedules to ensure timely and successful completion
Serve as the senior project manager and primary client contact, leading presentations and relationship management
Develop and implement strategic business forecasts and growth plans to expand market presence
Oversee and approve proposal development, pricing, estimating, and marketing strategies
Develop and negotiate client agreements while ensuring strong customer relationships
Provide mentorship and leadership to departmental staff, fostering a high-performance culture
Attend client meetings and industry events to promote business development

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus.

Bachelors

Experience:
10+ years

Qualifications:
Bachelor???s degree in Science or Engineering with a focus on planning, environmental, or water resources
10+ years of experience in science or engineering, with 5+ years in project management or leadership roles
Strong background in proposal development, budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy
