Experienced VP of Engineering with a strong background in CNC machining, metal stamping, and manufacturing leadership, preferably within the automotive industry. Leads and oversees the entire design and manufacturing team, driving innovation, product development, and process optimization. Works directly with clients on new and existing product designs and modifications, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Oversee engineering and manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost- effectiveness in CNC machining and metal stamping processes.
Lead new product development and existing product modifications, working closely with clients to align designs with performance, manufacturability, and cost requirements.
Supervise and mentor design and manufacturing teams, ensuring collaboration between engineering, production, and quality departments.
Drive SolidWorks-based product design and engineering improvements, optimizing mechanical components for performance and manufacturability.
Implement process improvements and automation to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Develop and manage engineering budgets, resources, and timelines, aligning technical efforts with business strategy.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Masters Preferred (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering leadership within CNC machining, metal stamping, or related manufacturing fields.
Expertise in SolidWorks design, with a strong understanding of product development and manufacturability.
Experience working directly with clients on product design and modifications, ensuring feasibility and performance.
Proven ability to lead engineering and manufacturing teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, automation, and production optimization.
Automotive industry experience preferred, with familiarity in regulatory compliance, material selection, and high-volume manufacturing.
