What You'll Do:

As Vice President of Finance, you will play a critical role in financial planning, operational strategy, and leadership, ensuring the success and long-term sustainability of both brands.

I. Leadership and Team Oversight
  • Oversee the Controller and finance team, ensuring efficient operations and seamless communication across departments.
  • Collaborate with brand leadership, operations executives, and department heads to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, enhancing their financial management and strategic decision-making skills.

II. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead financial forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate projections.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with leadership to develop realistic and strategic budgets.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, delivering actionable insights to drive profitability and efficiency.

III. Cash Management & Treasury Oversight
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring operational needs are met while supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Optimize working capital, effectively managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
  • Oversee treasury functions, managing banking relationships, debt services, and capital fundraising initiatives.

IV. Financial Accountability & Compliance
  • Enhance financial accountability by implementing robust financial controls and reporting mechanisms.
  • Cultivate a culture of financial acumen, ensuring leaders understand the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, maintaining transparency in financial statements.

V. Strategic Growth & Risk Management
  • Provide financial guidance for expansion initiatives, including site development, new market entry, and brand extensions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring long-term brand stability and financial health.
  • Support capital allocation strategies, optimizing resources to align with business objectives.

VI. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Drive process improvements in financial operations through technology and best practices.
  • Introduce innovative financial tools and reporting methodologies to enhance forecasting and efficiency.
  • Establish a continuous feedback system with leadership to ensure financial strategies effectively support brand goals.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (restaurant/hospitality experience preferred).
  • Proven expertise in financial strategy, planning, and operational finance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive profitability in a high-growth environment.
