Position Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive HR strategy to meet the needs of a dynamic Senior Living Facility. This role emphasizes building a high-performing workforce, driving innovation through HR technology, and leading recruitment and retention initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of HR will collaborate with leadership to create a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth while supporting the mission and values of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals, emphasizing workforce optimization, employee satisfaction, and leadership development.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention:
    Lead innovative recruitment strategies and retention programs to attract and retain top talent in clinical, administrative, and support roles.
  • Employee Benefits Administration:
    Oversee health insurance programs, workers' compensation claims, and employee leave processes, including FMLA, ensuring seamless and compliant administration.
  • HR Technology:
    Implement and optimize HR systems to streamline operations, improve employee experiences, and provide actionable workforce analytics.
  • Employee Engagement:
    Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning through engagement programs and leadership development initiatives.
  • Workforce Planning:
    Align staffing strategies with organizational needs, ensuring efficient workforce planning and succession readiness for key roles.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of HR leadership experience preferred, with a proven track record in strategic HR management, talent acquisition, and workforce development.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR technology implementation and optimization.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in designing and executing innovative recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational culture initiatives and foster an engaged workforce.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
