Vice President of Programs

The VP of Programs drives strategic leadership, transforming program delivery and executive development across diverse career stages. This role demands discerning judgment in program innovation and operational excellence and the ability to craft relevant, sophisticated learning experiences that accelerate leadership growth. It requires a sophisticated leader who can blend strategic vision, operational excellence, and discerning judgment to create transformative experiences across the leadership development spectrum.

Essential Functions

Strategic Program Architecture & Innovation
  • Design differentiated programming that serves both emerging professionals and seasoned executives
  • Craft sophisticated learning journeys that reflect current business challenges and future leadership demands
  • Implement rigorous quality standards across all program elements
  • Lead curriculum evolution to maintain relevance and impact
  • Develop executive-caliber content and experiential learning opportunities

Operational Excellence & Program Management
  • Orchestrate seamless program operations from selection through graduation
  • Establish clear operational frameworks and quality control measures
  • Standardize and document program processes and best practices
  • Create efficient systems for program delivery and participant engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement through participant feedback and market insights
  • Manage complex logistics for high-stakes executive programming

Team & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Direct and develop program directors, coordinators, and facilitators
  • Manage contract staff and facilitators
  • Lead scholarship selection committee
  • Guide program recruitment and elevation of participant quality
  • Build strategic partnerships across business and philanthropic sectors

Quality & Impact Management
  • Establish metrics for program quality and executive development impact
  • Create sophisticated feedback loops for continuous program improvement
  • Develop frameworks for measuring leadership growth and application
  • Design and implement participant assessment methodologies
  • Track program ROI and community impact

Systems & Analytics
  • Leverage Salesforce for relationship and program management
  • Create data-driven insights through advanced analytics
  • Maintain comprehensive program dashboards
  • Drive evidence-based program improvements
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years in executive education or leadership development
  • Proven success in operational management and program strategy
  • Experience elevating program quality and participant experience
  • Able to leverage strategic relationships across for profit and non-profit organizations
  • Pro-business beliefs that are consistent with the organization's mission and generally with the positions of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities and systems thinking
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and community building
  • Advanced degree in business, leadership, education or related field preferred
