Compensation: $160,000 - $215,000 + 25% bonus

Travel: 25-50% (domestic and international within North America)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience:
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, including at least 7 years in senior leadership roles, ideally in the PPE industry.
  • Proven ability in strategic planning, developing and implementing initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth.
  • Experience managing multi-site distribution operations, preferably with a $1 billion+ operation.
  • Expertise in leading teams through organizational changes, especially in a merger or acquisition setting.
  • Strong leadership capabilities in managing diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain management technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.


Job Summary:

As the Vice President of Warehouse Operations for North America, you will oversee the strategic direction, development, and execution of all distribution and logistics operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Reporting to the North American Operations Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, safety, cost-effectiveness, and the timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers. Your leadership will be critical in optimizing supply chain efficiencies, embracing technology, and navigating the complexities of an imminent merger with Honeywell. This role demands extensive experience in multi-site warehouse management and the ability to drive teams through change.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute long-term strategies for warehouse operations that align with the company's business goals and expansion plans.
Collaborate across functions-Sales, Product Management, Inventory, Operations Planning-to synchronize distribution strategies with broader company objectives.
Lead initiatives focused on safety, operational efficiency, and quality across all distribution centers.
Design scalable processes and adopt technologies to accommodate network growth and operational efficiency.

Operational Excellence:
Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the distribution and logistics teams.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Drive compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Promote the adoption of new technologies and process improvements to enhance operations and meet customer expectations.
Leverage cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements across all distribution centers.

Team Leadership:
Lead a team of senior distribution professionals, including Director-level branch managers, and provide guidance, coaching, and career development.
Foster a results-driven, collaborative work environment that empowers teams to meet organizational goals.
Partner with HR for workforce planning, training, and development initiatives.
Align the efforts of Directors, Managers, and Front-Line Leaders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Budget Management:
Oversee the distribution and logistics budget, ensuring that financial targets are met while maintaining high service and safety standards.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.

People Management:
Manage performance for a team of 4-7 Distribution Center Managers and professionals across North America.
Set clear performance targets and goals, ensuring team members are aligned with business objectives.

Proven Leadership: Strong track record in leading and inspiring large teams in multi-site warehouse operations, especially in the context of change, such as mergers or acquisitions.
Strategic Vision: Ability to craft and execute strategies that drive operational success and cost efficiency.
Effective Communication: Skilled in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear and persuasive communication.
Operational Expertise: In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations, including warehouse management, transportation, and inventory management.
Continuous Improvement: Passionate about identifying and implementing process improvements for long-term operational success.
Technological Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of WMS and supply chain management tools.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
