Vice President of Operations
This is a newly created leadership role reporting directly to the Owner/President. The VP of Operations will serve as the strategic and hands-on leader ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly across multiple departments, including Drafting, Purchasing, Programming, Shipping, and Project Management.
In this role, you'll work closely with a forward-thinking owner who has established strong systems and procedures-and now needs a trusted partner to enforce and refine them.

Vice President of Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all operational departments (excluding Estimating and Production).
- Ensure policies and procedures are effectively implemented and followed.
- Drive operational efficiency, quality, and cross-departmental coordination.
- Coach and develop department leads to support professional growth and accountability.
- Support the continued scale-up of the business, maintaining structure and organization amidst growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and process improvement.
- Champion a "hands-on" culture-leading by example and staying close to the work.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) industry.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally at a Director or VP level in a manufacturing or engineering-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of PEMB processes, terminology, and project life cycles.
- Strong decision-making skills and operational judgment.
- Hands-on leader-comfortable jumping in, solving problems, and driving results.
- Able to thrive in a growth-stage environment: fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving.
- Practical mindset with a "doer" mentality-not looking to delegate from afar.
- Experience implementing or maintaining operational policies and systems is a plus.
