LPL is currently recruiting for a VP, Sales Manager IFS. A typical day for this individual includes developing leaders, sales coaching and wealth management process management, internal team development through effective training and performance management, analysis of performance data for trends and actions, interviewing prospective employees, collaborating with business partners on strategic initiatives, and performing the compliance and administrative tasks inherent in our industry.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record for coaching Advisors and leading collaborative, high-performing teams. Being a leader of leaders and having a breadth of experience within the financial services industry and a strong understanding of call center-based advice models will help this candidate initiate and execute business initiatives.

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of team consisting of Financial Advisors, Leaders, and Operations staff.
- Create a culture of growth, ensuring that (1) client needs and relationship deepening are being properly executed and that business objectives are being met; and (2) employees feel a strong sense of belonging where they feel they can be successful, can bring diversity of thought, and pursue career opportunities.
- Diagnose team performance and gaps in order to develop action plans to drive productivity.
- Develop and implement a consistent wealth management process for all team members.
- Drive client management and relationship deepening routines.
- Work with key partners to identify, develop and execute initiatives that improve Advisor productivity, enhance the end investor experience and accelerate new client acquisition.
- Manage all service center-like aspects of the business to ensure the platform run smoothly and client needs are met.
- Work with individual team members to problem solve, acting as point of escalation for Advisors and clients.
- Manage and execute end-to-end talent management process including hiring, onboarding, performing performance reviews and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Supervise the investment and relationship deepening process and ensure coordination and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Handle items related to compensation and other personnel matters.
Requirements:
- Series 7, 66 licensed (Required); Series 9,10,24 (a plus).
- Additional designations are preferred: CFP, CRPC, CFA, CIMA, and/or AAMS.
- A minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry with at least 4 years in a sales leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated leadership, management and motivational skills.
- Deep understanding of opportunity channels available and how to tap into them for organic growth.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools, SLA management and segmentation of opportunity.
- A desire to lead, a passion for wealth management, achieving outcomes, and a deep commitment to client service.
- Comprehensive industry and investment knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of success in sales, sales leadership and overall leadership.
- Comfortable with change management.
- Proven track record of influencing, coaching and improving performance in others.
- Can attract, recruit and retain an effective sales and operations team, including leadership roles.
- Exercises good judgment and experience to make timely and effective decisions.
