The VP of Sales will be responsible for shaping and executing Shopware's sales strategy in the United States. This individual will be instrumental in driving new business, expanding customer relationships, and scaling revenue operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Cloud, eCommerce, or digital commerce sales, along with a proven track record of building and managing high-growth sales teams.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to accelerate Shopware's market presence and revenue growth in the US.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and lead a world-class sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Revenue Growth: Own and drive revenue targets, ensuring consistent pipeline generation and deal closure.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the eCommerce ecosystem, including mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders to position Shopware as the eCommerce platform of choice.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and sales metrics to track performance, optimize processes, and drive accountability.
- AI and Innovation: Ability to leverage next-generation tools internally and help clients adopt them.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or digital commerce platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully scaling sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in selling to mid-market and enterprise clients in the eCommerce industry.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies in a competitive B2B environment.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
