The Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition & People Operations is a strategic leader who will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy while optimizing HR technology systems. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will oversee workforce planning, employer branding, recruiting and staffing, management of hiring funnel and onboarding of talent, and the development to talent programs and people operations to ensure short and long term business success.
A critical part of this role is leading the buildout of the Global Business Service Centers (GBSC) ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability. This leader will drive a high-performing talent function that attracts, engages, and retains top talent while leveraging HR technology to streamline processes and enhance decision-making, ensuring scalable processes are developed and implemented worldwide.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring the organization attracts and retains high-caliber talent across regions.
- Lead the creation and staffing of a Global Business Service Center in a strategically selected low-cost country, ensuring efficiency and talent optimization.
- Partner with business leaders to define workforce planning needs, establish hiring priorities, and implement best-in-class recruitment processes.
- Develop employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in global markets.
- Implement data-driven recruitment strategies, including leveraging analytics, AI-driven hiring tools, and industry benchmarks.
- Oversee executive and senior-level recruitment, ensuring a diverse and highly skilled leadership pipeline.
- Optimize and align global onboarding processes to provide an engaging onboarding experience.
Global Business Service Center (GBSC) Development
- Lead the strategic planning, setup, and operationalization of a GBSC, supporting global HR, and other business functions.
- Identify and secure a location that aligns with cost-saving objectives, talent availability, and business scalability.
- Develop talent strategies to attract, train, and retain skilled professionals for the GBSC, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and HR teams to ensure compliance with local labor laws and best HR practices.
- Drive process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within the GBSC.
- Oversee global immigration via the GBSC.
HR Technology, Insights and Optimization
- Oversee the HR technology strategy, ensuring HR platforms support global business needs and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Drive the integration of talent acquisition tools with the company's HRIS to enhance recruitment analytics, reporting, and efficiency.
- Ensure HR systems comply with global data privacy and security standards.
- Leverage automation and AI-based recruitment technologies to streamline hiring processes and improve candidate experience.
- Partner with IT and HR teams to continuously assess and improve HR technology infrastructure.
- Develop talent dashboards and metrics as needed
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing internal global talent acquisition team.
- Foster strong partnerships with executive leadership, regional HR teams, and business unit leaders to align talent strategies with corporate objectives.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure success in hiring, HR technology adoption, core HR measures and GBSC efficiency.
- Drive inclusion and belonging initiatives within the talent acquisition strategy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, or a related HR leadership role within a global organization.
- Proven experience developing, managing and scaling a Global Business Service Center or shared service operations
- Proven success designing and deploying enterprise-wide programs that drive talent acquisition processes, employee onboarding, executive onboard and global people operations
- Strong expertise in HR platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar) and talent acquisition technologies.
- Expertise in developing dashboard, reporting, and metrics for the business
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale recruitment initiatives, workforce planning, and employer branding.
- Deep understanding of global labor markets, talent mobility, and international compliance.
- Experience in change management, process automation, and HR digital transformation.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing global teams to execute large-scale HR and organizational initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading talent strategies during periods of growth, transformation, or M&A.
- Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to drive results across multiple business units, geographies, and HR teams.
- Large-scale corporate communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
