Summary:

Reporting to Senior Vice President, CHRO, the Vice President of Talent Acquisition Sourcing is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's talent acquisition strategy and ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber candidates across all levels and departments. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the talent strategy to support the organization's growth and strategic goals, while fostering an innovative, high-performance culture within the Recruitment, TA Operations and Workforce Development teams.

The VP of Talent Acquisition Sourcing will collaborate with executive leadership and other key stakeholders to build and maintain a best-in-class recruitment function, ensuring the company's ability to attract, engage, and retain top talent in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Is responsible for knowing and acting in accordance with the principles of the Brown University Health Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Formulates strategic talent acquisition plans to fulfill the staffing requirements of each entity, ensuring alignment with Brown University Health's comprehensive strategic objectives.

Lead and manage a team of recruitment professionals responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring talent across all disciplines within the hospital system. Ensure that the entire team functions at a high-performance level with a strong sense of urgency and a continuous focus on customer satisfaction.

Provides leadership and oversight to continuously develop the team's sourcing, candidate and client relationship skills. Instills a customer-centric focus across the team to ensure delivery of an excellent candidate experience.

Conducts talent demand planning with the business to assess and develop strategies to proactively plan for and build candidate pipelines for critical positions. Proactively monitors hiring against workforce plans and develop solutions when hiring volume exceeds plans.

Use data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, identify trends, and recommend improvements and best practices to strengthen the talent acquisition process. Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the talent acquisition function to measure success and impact.

Recommends and establishes service level agreements and performance metrics with the leadership of each institution and ensures the recruiting function meets or exceeds these expectations. Proactively manages client relationships, regularly communicating performance results to leadership teams and collaboratively creating plans for future staffing needs.

Build strong relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HR business partners to understand the organization's hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.

Develops, executes, and directs the development of customized sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions and report on results. Leverages social networking and other cutting edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network.

Oversee the implementation and optimization of recruitment technology, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing tools, and other HR technologies.

Ensure that recruitment processes are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and a positive candidate experience to attract and retain talent.

Develops strategies to appropriately and effectively partner with vendors such as contract labor staffing companies, search firms, advertising agencies, assessment firms and vendors who do background checks, drug testing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION:

Baccalaureate degree in human resources management, business administration or related field.

Possesses deep understanding of State and Federal employment law and regulations regarding accreditation through various organizations including The Joint Commission.

QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE:

At least 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team of talent acquisition professionals with proven experience developing and executing strategic talent acquisition plans that align with overall business goals. Strong experience in creative sourcing efforts with proven results. Must have an intense focus on customer service and continuous improvement. Exemplary influencing skills and demonstrated excellence working in a matrix organization. Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and present a business case for additional resources. Must solicit feedback from internal clients and move rapidly and collaboratively towards problem resolution. Must have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills at multiple levels within and outside the organization. Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentations) and organizational skills. Must have strong and proven change leadership/change management skills including the ability to motivate, coach and develop team including providing tough feedback in a supportive manner. Must be fluent in recruiting and talent acquisition best practices and demonstrated experience at developing talent acquisition strategies and implementing them into an organization.
