Summary:
Tri Star Energyis seeking an experienced, sales driven, and forward thinking Vice President of Wholesale Fuels to lead our wholesale and commercial divisions at our Store Support Center in Nashville. This role requires a visionary that can set strategy, increase market share, and maximize profit, while being aligned with organizational goals, opportunities, and future growth initiatives.
The Vice President of Wholesale is responsible for managing and supporting Wholesale sub-marketer, open dealer, consignee, commercial, and proprietary card classes of trade through sales and marketing initiatives and processes. Responsible for the overall supply of branded and unbranded fuels and managing supplier relationships. Ultimately accountable for the profitability of the Wholesale Business Unit.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages and oversees all Wholesale TM, Commercial Sales Reps. dealing with customer relations, including but not limited to credit, collection, image, marketing programs and individual location profitability.
- Oversees the rack sales function directly and ensures compliance with company objectives in terms of volume, profitability, and credit risk.
- Oversees the supply and pricing of fuels and ensures overall compliance with volume and profitability targets.
- Identifies geographic areas for expansion and organic growth
- Seeks growth opportunities through individual location or acquisitions.
- Facilitates all supplier programs, including but not limited to advertisement, image, Co-op and building incentives (i.e., Shell, Exxon, Marathon, Gulf and Citgo).
- Manages and supports network conversions and GRS (Global Retail Strategy) as well as Company to Dealer and station realignment.
- Utilizes industry knowledge and connections to recruit top talent to support business unit growth plans.
- Ensures proper expenditure and allocation of company funds.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field;
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible, supervisory-level Wholesale sales and marketing experience.
- Experience in a retail, C-Store, and/or fuel/petroleum environments is required.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business or marketing discipline.
- Advanced experience in sales methodologies.
- Advanced Physical and Digital Security experience.
- Broad experience and knowledge across financial, merchandising, order management, consumer digital, payment, and POS solutions.
- Awareness of and engagement with the marketplace including artificial intelligence and automation solutions.
