Summary:
This position performs work requiring advanced knowledge and experience related to logistics, customer service, government property accountability, and government Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract support. The Warehouse Supervisor is a working supervisor, flexible, able to adapt to change, must have a servant leadership mindset, intellectual in nature, and able to routinely exercise discretion and judgment to fulfill operational requirements.
Scope:
The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Site Logistics Manager for daily operational planning and execution. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for teaching, coaching, and mentoring of up to 18 employees at a US Government activity in the United Kingdom. Supervision will include Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team, Site Transportation team and Procurement. This position requires the flexibility and performance of a multitude of ILS functions related to customer service, shipping/receiving, stock item management, and material handling. Candidates for this position must be comfortable working within a secured government facility and the handling, management, and transfer of classified materials.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supervision:
Provide servant leadership and supervisory oversight to assigned team
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the willingness to dedicate time to the personal and professional development of subordinates; both formally and informally
Exhibit interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively handle conflict resolution and conduct work task prioritization
Maintain the highest level of ethical and moral standards; holds self and direct reports accountable for all actions good, bad, and indifferent
Promote and foster a culture of teamwork
Adhere to all site safety policy, procedures, and ensure compliance of OSHA regulation; report incidents immediately to the Site Logistics Manager

Demonstrate pride in assigned team, site, products and services
Collaborate across all disciplines including Material Management, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Construction
Assist with the growth of the Logistics team by providing support with staffing the Site Transportation team and any workforce administration issues amongst all teams under the candidate's supervision
Assist with organizing and managing courier support missions, to include effectively communicating and coordinating with external support agencies within the supply chain
Generate documents, organize and manage files, and maintain tracking data and reports
Access portals and knowledge communities to stay updated on Fluor events and research practices, and policies
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
Will be required to travel, as well as occasional overnight stays, to attend to business related matters
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)
Working toward applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)
Experience should be primarily in the area of material management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent computer literacy and skills
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Other Job Requirements

Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and obtain a Government driver's licenses.
Be able to pass forklift training to obtain a Forklift Operator's certificate
Possess or be able to obtain Hazardous Material Preparers Certification
Capable of lifting 40lbs. and be able to use hand/power tools as required
