The CFI is seeking an experienced Wargame Planner-Analyst to support and drive the quality of analysis-supported interactions between Lockheed Martin business areas (BAs) and their customers, ensuring successful outcomes that substantively support and inform the BA Long Range Plans, shape customer perspectives, an build enduring partnerships and business outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing:
As the Wargame Planner-Analyst Sr Staff, you will be part of a team of experienced operations project managers, wargame designers, and wargame analysts. You will report directly to the CFI's Senior Manager for Operations & Wargaming. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Serving as a principal point of contact and liaison with the LM Business Areas, Corporate Engineering and Technology (E&T), and government partners on wargames, table-top exercises, workshops and studies
Designing and developing wargaming events (from establishing objectives through execution and design and analysis) through application of Lockheed Martin's LightWorx (deliberate planning and system integration) process
Managing a portfolio of concurrent projects that involve modelling and simulation applications, analysis and experimentation capabilities
Providing subject matter expert insights during peer review and consultation sessions associated with projects assigned to other CFI teams
Participating in strategic, operational, and tactical level planning and management studies, assessments, and BA outreach
Developing professional presentations, worksheets, and documents utilizing Microsoft Office 365 Suite of tools for executive leadership and customers

This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to identify, examine, and shape opportunities around customer needs. The work will be in a fast-paced environment and will require you to think in multi-dimensional space, multi-task while focusing on attention to details, delivering excellence in execution on all assignments. You must be able to work independently under general direction on complex problems involving all phases of event planning and execution. You must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills and demeanor to represent LM and the CFI to customers, teammates, executive management, and staff.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This is a hybrid role that requires mostly onsite work at the Lighthouse in Suffolk, VA
Occasional travel will also be required (~10-20%)
An active Secret clearance is required to start

Basic Qualifications
Experience with full-cycle Analytical Event Design and Analysis (Wargaming, Tabletop Exercises, Experimentation) to include establishing objectives through execution and design and analysis
Thorough understanding of military planning processes
Experience interfacing with military, inter-company, and industry partners at executive levels
Experience in project leadership
Strong customer relations expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to comfortably and effectively present at a senior leadership level (internal and external)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
Active Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Desired skills
Education or Background in Operations Research or Operations Analysis
In-depth knowledge of DoD mission and concepts of operations
Experience or exposure to digital wargaming (AI & LLM)
Prior experience within a Lockheed Martin
Active Top Secret clearance or above

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
