General Summary
The City of Richland is looking for a well-qualified candidate to join our team as the Water Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be familiar with State of Washington Department of Health regulations and Safety regulations, should have prior experience with asset management and record keeping, and a good understanding of the basic maintenance programs related to water distribution and delivery systems in addition to being familiar with the operation of irrigation systems. This position will supervise a crew of over ten team members.
TARGET HIRING RANGE: $7,052.93 to $8,463.87 Monthly (DOQ)
Performs difficult skilled technical work planning, scheduling and directing the installation, maintenance and repair of the water distribution and irrigation systems and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Water Manager ("supervisor"). Continuous supervision is exercised over assigned personnel.

Minimum Qualifications
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of increasingly responsible water distribution system maintenance, construction, or operations experience, including at least one (1) year in a lead or supervisory role.

- Valid Department of Health Cross Connection Control Specialist and Water Distribution Manager IV Certifications upon hire date.
