Wright-Pierce, an award winning, employee-owned, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure is seeking an experiencedWater/Wastewater Project Manager Team Leaderto join our team in Clifton Park, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage teams working on a wide variety of water and wastewater projects across New York State and surrounding regions, including water source development, treatment, storage and distribution and/or wastewater collection, pumping and treatment. Exceptional performance in this role could lead to becoming theWastewater State Group Leaderfor New York.

This key role offers significant responsibility in driving the success of our New York market with the potential for Wright-Pierce stock ownership based on qualifications and performance.The position also qualifies for our Incentive Compensation Program.These programs offer the opportunity for substantial rewards in addition to a competitive salary and benefits.

Salary Range is $115,000-$165,000/yr.

NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal water and wastewater projects including water source, distribution, and storage projects, as well as wastewater collection, pumping and treatment
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex project challenges
• Oversee project budget, schedule, production and quality control across all phases
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
• Lead technical execution for large or complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Supervise the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and bid packages
• Ensure all project requirements and deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Identify opportunities to enhance Wright-Pierces project standards and execution
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering their professional growth
• Lead business development efforts to expand client relationships and market presence
• Travel to client and project sites as needed
• Represent Wright-Pierce in relevant industry organizations and events

Essential Functions

• Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) required. Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and funding processes.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Team Building:Ability to develop strong relationships with coworkers and build effective teams
• Collaboration:Ability to collaborate with others to capitalize on Wright-Pierces collective capabilities and knowledge

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in drinking water and/or wastewater project engineering

Certifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required

Education

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar
