Your role
Do you want to work with clients to help them meet their financial goals? We are looking for someone to partner with Financial Advisors to help provide comprehensive financial planning services to our clients and help identify sound solutions to help our Financial Advisors meet our client's needs. You will:
Go through a robust learning program to develop your skills in financial planning and wealth planning topics
Work with Financial Advisors to evaluate client needs by helping create customized financial plans
Gather relevant financial and qualitative data to incorporate in the financial planning process
Edit and update existing financial plans based on client ongoing needs and requests
Handle various levels of planning complexity including interpreting external investment statements, real estate, business asset interests, equity compensation, risk management, insurance, retirement and banking needs
Build cash flow statements and retirement planning projections based on the clients' goals
Leverage our UBS Wealth Way Methodology and our 3L framework (liquidity, longevity, legacy)
Identify potential solution needs including insurance, banking and portfolio restructuring
Be the primary planning support for our high net worth and ultra-high net worth client segments
Act as Ambassadors for the wealth planning brand and our comprehensive client process
Your team
You will be working on the Wealth Planning team in Weehawken, NJ [Charlotte, NC] [Phoenix, AZ]. This team consists of wealth planners who support Financial Advisors in the review, delivery, and implementation of financial plans to expand client relationships, drive net new assets, and identify revenue opportunities through the wealth planning process.
Your expertise
You have:
A bachelor's degree
Ideally 3 years of work experience
Strong communication (oral and written) with solid interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
Ability to think analytically and provide practical solutions
Ability to work in a team environment
Securities licenses, SIE, Series 7, Series 66, preferred but not mandatory (need to obtain within the first 90 days of hire)
CFP (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) designation preferred but not mandatory (need to obtain within the first 24 months of hire)
Background or experience using financial planning platforms preferred but not mandatory
