Barbaricum is seeking a Web Developer to support an active Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contract focusing on acquisition support. This contract provides services to the Office of the Component Acquisition Executive (OCAE), the centralized milestone decision authority within the DISA enterprise. This individual will interact with SharePoint Administrators to ensure compliance with DISA SharePoint community practices.

Barbaricum is seeking a Web Developer to support an active Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contract focusing on acquisition support. This contract provides services to the Office of the Component Acquisition Executive (OCAE), the centralized milestone decision authority within the DISA enterprise. This individual will interact with SharePoint Administrators to ensure compliance with DISA SharePoint community practices.
Responsibilities:
- Redesign, populate, and maintain the OCAE website with a multitude of sub-sites on the DISA-provided infrastructure (currently SharePoint Online). There are approximately 150 current internal and external links that are managed/maintained.
- Maintain supporting acquisition documentation through systems/repositories which link to Portfolio and Program Documentation and Major Decisions. These efforts require configuration of the website in accordance with DISA SharePoint Community of Practice (COP) website standards and procedures and manage content of all browser based libraries to ensure data needed to conduct acquisition planning and execution is posted, up to date, and accessible to appropriate parties.
- Ensure that the website is user-friendly and allow program managers and DISA staff outside OCAE to understand the acquisition process and find the information, templates, and processes they need to conduct acquisition planning and execution.
- Ensure that the website stays updated with the latest information and that the information grouping is logical and easy to access.
- Fix broken links and remove outdated information within 24 hours.
- Implement a collaboration capability that allows DISA staff outside OCAE to collaborate with OCAE staff and provide feedback on website design, desired content, and missing information.
- Provide metrics/statistics data such as site usage reports and data utilization monthly.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- BA/BS Degree
- Understanding of basic database and file structure concepts e.g. Database Schema, as it pertains to SharePoint and Microsoft Access
- Familiar with Section 508 Standards and Accessibility best practices
- Experience and comfort with briefing Government Staff
- Website design experience
- SharePoint Online experience
- Microsoft Power Platform Experience
- Microsoft Spreadsheet Experience
- Familiarity with SharePoint Rest APIs
- General problem solving
