Web Services Software Engineer- Network and Security Group
Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to partner with our network and security group to develop software, support ongoing projects, and develop code.
Job Duties
Design and develop the software modules for data collection, storage, analytics and presentation to handle a large volume of data
Lead or work with a team to design, develop, and integrate web services to support existing applications
Rigorously develop, test and document code
Required skills & abilities
Proficient programming skills using Java, Python, C++
Experience in web development using Grails/Groovy, Spring Boot, and/or Python (pyramid, flask, django) frameworks
Experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch), text analytics tools (e.g., spaCy), and/or Big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Solr, Spark, Storm) is a plus
Knowledge of network and security is a plus
Good writing and communication skills
Education requirements
A degree (BS, MS) in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Electronic Engineering
