Job Description
While working within appropriate practice scope, oversee the daily operations of the Pediatric Weight Management Center. Includes coordinating support staff activities, oversight of data collection, interfacing with hospital staff as needed on behalf of physicians and surgeons including but not limited to OR staff, nutrition support, and floor/nursing staff as well as overall center management and enhancement. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of ongoing marketing and outreach efforts necessary to grow the program. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the dietician process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues as well as monitor and follow up on outstanding items. Requires leadership skills and the ability to function in clinical, administrative and financial environments.
Education And Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, healthcare or simliar required. Registered Dietician required.
Experience
4 years of experience in working with and treating children and adolescents with sensitive medical issues required.
