Reporting to the Lead Engineer of Well Servicing, the Well Servicing Engineer supports the execution of the well servicing activities while working with the well servicing superintendent/supervisors for the area, while maintaining an environmentally safe / cost effective work environment. - Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:
- Write, review, update and sign programs to include all regulatory, safety, and best business practices
- You will be responsible for the upfront work scope of development activities including both completions design/programming, recompletions programming, and cost estimating for new capital or opex projects
- You will be responsible for working with the upfront programming/scoping on non-routine workovers including cost estimating and ensure regulatory approvals are in place
- Technical support throughout all districts (Thermal / Heavy Oil / Conventional) for example performing budgetary reviews for management and job lookbacks on cost and efficiency
- You will be interfacing and communicating with contract service companies on regular basis for example on technical, equipment, and pricing aspects
- You will be performing field visits as required to gain understanding of the work being executed and to increase competency to perform necessary aspects of the role
What You Bring to the Role:
- Technical diploma or degree in related field is required
- 2+ years experience in related field is required
- Experience with programs such as Wellstar, Wellview, Accumap, and Rodstar is an asset
- Computer skills (Excel/ Word, Production Tracker, Tableau, Outlook)
- Strong verbal, written and cross-functional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders including contractors.
