Description

The Wellness Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, promoting, and overseeing wellness initiatives for all employees and their dependents. Wellness Administrator collaborates with other departments to integrate wellness strategies into daily operations and may work together with community leaders and outside agencies to assist and promote wellness enterprises within the community. Administrator is to track participation and evaluate the effectiveness of all programs.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in health and wellness, nutrition, or related field and two to five years' experience developing and administering wellness programs for medium to large-size organizations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred certifications include NBC-HWC or CHES.
Special Comments
  • Oversee the Employee Wellness Center (clinic) and work with third party vendors to coordinate specialty programs through the Wellness Center. Specialty programs include Weight Management, and Hormone Health.
  • Coordinate Biometric Screenings and other health screenings.
  • Monitor Health Coaching program with third party vendor.
  • Oversee and maintain all onsite fitness rooms.
  • Organize and facilitate health and wellness education and fitness classes.
  • Organize wellness competitions, incentives, and other ongoing wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate Pet Therapy program with Animal Services.
  • Manage EAP with Human Resources
  • Manage Pain Management with Human Resources.
  • Assist with leadership initiatives and employee retention.
  • Help manage and evaluate health insurance claims and determine ways to reduce claims costs.
  • Manage special projects as assigned by the Assistant County Manager.
  • Abide by, enforce, and participate in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph County Government safety standards and regulations.
