Job Purpose: Organizes and directs wellness team by establishing objectives and standards as well as the organizational structure for achieving those objectives. Ensures that all nursing care meets all local, state, and federal agency regulations as well as facility standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs tailored to the needs of residents.
  • Supervise and manage staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Manage budgets related to wellness programs and resources effectively.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in home care and assisted living.
  • Monitor the overall health and well-being of residents, providing support as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.


Position Requirements:
  • RN License required in RI; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' supervision experience in the medical field required. AL, LTC, and geriatric nursing care experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills required.
  • Knowledge of GAFC requirements, D.P.H. regulations, and Department of Elder Affairs standards required.
