This position contributes to our vision by:
The range of missions will allow the candidate to work on high-tech products, acquire or strengthen their overall vision of aerospace equipment development, and be at the heart of Pre-Development dynamics.
Leading the pre-development of mechanical assemblies in response to requests for information/proposals (RFI/RFP) to win new markets.
Monitoring development processes related to Pre-Development and contributing to meeting cost/quality and deadline objectives.
Facilitating the integration of innovations into future developments.

Candidate skills & requirements

**The mission includes the following activities**:
Defining and implementing the Pre-Development plan according to Safran's standard development process. Drafting or having internal and client-expected documents drafted.
Leading and coordinating the project team and cross-functional resources.
Ensuring project scheduling and capacity in project and cross-functional team resources. Updating project management indicators.
Interfacing with Sales/Programs, supporting them in client interactions.
Interfacing with other LGI/SE divisions and the ATA32 system architects team.
Facilitating the transition from pre-development to the development team.
Occasionally supporting Research & Technology (R&T).
Contributing to the consolidation of best practices and improving the state of the art in the field.

Job Requirements
Engineering degree in mechanics or a generalist, or a university master's degree.
Solid experience in managing technical projects in the aerospace industry.
Open to change, agile, dynamic, organized, and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team
Good interpersonal skills enabling representation of the Technical Directorate to our clients.
Cross-functional management skills.
Strong synthesis capacity.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
