Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Architect with deep expertise in telecom/Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to design and optimize next-generation Wi-Fi architectures. In this role, you will lead the development of high-performance Wi-Fi solutions for enterprise-scale deployments, ensuring superior connectivity and user experience.Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Wi-Fi architectures for CPE products, optimizing radio/antenna parameters (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure and enhance Wi-Fi performance (throughput, latency, coverage).
• Build lab setups to simulate real-world conditions and validate performance under load.
• Research traffic models and industry trends to inform future-proof designs.
• Collaborate with Product/Dev teams to define technical requirements and test strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field/lab defects, driving issues to root cause.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, WFA, WBA, and IETF standards.

Required QualificationsTechnical Expertise:

• 8+ years in Wi-Fi/WLAN protocols and CPE product development.
• Mastery of:
  
  • Security protocols: WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X.
  • Mesh/steering: 802.11k/v/r.
  • Test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework).
• Hands-on experience with:
  
  • RF optimization tools (Ekahau, Hamina).
  • Packet analysis (Wireshark, TCPdump).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills:

• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (HW/SW/QA).
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent written/verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) features (MLO, Multi-RU).
• Knowledge of 5G/Wi-Fi convergence.
• Contributions to open-source networking projects.

Education

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
