We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Architect with deep expertise in telecom/Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to design and optimize next-generation Wi-Fi architectures. In this role, you will lead the development of high-performance Wi-Fi solutions for enterprise-scale deployments, ensuring superior connectivity and user experience.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Wi-Fi architectures for CPE products, optimizing radio/antenna parameters (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure and enhance Wi-Fi performance (throughput, latency, coverage).
- Build lab setups to simulate real-world conditions and validate performance under load.
- Research traffic models and industry trends to inform future-proof designs.
- Collaborate with Product/Dev teams to define technical requirements and test strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field/lab defects, driving issues to root cause.
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, WFA, WBA, and IETF standards.
- 8+ years in Wi-Fi/WLAN protocols and CPE product development.
- Mastery of:
- Security protocols: WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X.
- Mesh/steering: 802.11k/v/r.
- Test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework).
- Hands-on experience with:
- RF optimization tools (Ekahau, Hamina).
- Packet analysis (Wireshark, TCPdump).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (HW/SW/QA).
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Excellent written/verbal communication.
- Experience with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) features (MLO, Multi-RU).
- Knowledge of 5G/Wi-Fi convergence.
- Contributions to open-source networking projects.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
