The Windows Infrastructure Analyst works with other teams to deliver, maintain and support internal/external applications and services which utilize the Microsoft Platform.

The Windows Infrastructure Analyst works with other teams to deliver, maintain and support internal/external applications and services which utilize the Microsoft Platform.
JD:
- Supporting the Microsoft environment through standard ITSM Processes. Actively engaging on Service Requests/Incident/Changes/Problems that are escalated to the team in ServiceNow.
- Providing after hours, 24X7 Support via an on-call rotation.
- Managing Microsoft Windows server resources (i.e. CPU, Mem, Storage); Creation and deletion of VM snapshots; Operating System Patching Upgrades/Lifecycle. (Versions 2003 to 2022; physical and virtual environments).
- Creating and maintaining support documentation.
- Provides input based on technical expertise and has a strong understanding of industry best practices, keeping up with technology changes through ongoing self study.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with end users, team members, other groups and vendors.
- Keen interest and understanding of Security and Cyber Security concepts, and how they pertain to the Microsoft landscape.
- Supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 level teams; providing training and knowledge transfer to help better support Microsoft solutions.
- Participating in delivery of enterprise wide projects which require Microsoft foundations (i.e. Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, etc.)
- Working with 3rd parties and vendors to implement integration with Microsoft technologies.
- Provide support/expertise to Rogers internal customers as required.
- Strong skills in application troubleshooting/support, and an ability to stay calm under pressure. Serving as escalation resource and representing the team on large scale and sometimes complex application issues.
Undertake a primary focus, with proficient knowledge and capabilities in the following technologies:
- Account and Access Management -Group Management, GPO, Multifactor Authentication (MFA, and Identity Management (IDM).
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP (Men & Mice), Certificate Services (PKI, Venafi).
- Azure Automation, Federation Services, Application Proxy.
- Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, Calendars, Teams, SharePoint,.
- SCCM/Intune/Bitlocker - Patching, Automation and Endpoint Management.
- Windows OS operational standards and best practices
- Microsoft technology application and services
- Microsoft technology services strategy and roadmap development.
- Incident MTTR
- Service request MTTF
- Annual software maintenance cost reduction through consolidation, lifecycle and optimization
- Automation EMTE (equivalent manual test effort)
