The Role

As a Windows System Engineer, you will streamline and secure our Windows infrastructure. You are an analytical thinker and enjoy troubleshooting issues and finding creative technical solutions. You will make data-driven decisions ensuring that we build systems that resolve and proactively address common issues before they impact end users. Core Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Servers/workstation configurations.
• Working with and Managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM.
• Ensure compliance of current Information Assurance (IA) policies, concepts, and measures when designing, procuring, adopting, and developing new IS.
• Continuously improve user workstation experiences through OS and application optimizations, automation, and streamlined processes.
• Automate and deploy OS/Security/Application patches across the infrastructure.
• Apply modern configuration management practices to endpoint management.
• Proactively monitor and measure workstation performance to detect trends and catch problems before users are impacted.

What We Value

• 3+ years hands-on experience Windows platform management at scale. Additional Linux experience a plus.
• Ability to leverage the Secure Host Baseline to build, manage and deploy window desktop images.
• Extensive knowledge of workstation management tooling such as SCCM.
• Coding/scripting fluency in at least one language, and a commitment to automating solutions.
• Experience with information security frameworks such as device encryption, anti-virus tooling, digital certificates, security policies etc.
• Familiarity with fundamentals such as AD, DNS, DHCP, firewall, VPN, and PKI, as well as DISA STIGs.
• Comfortable with modern configuration management tooling (SCCM, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell DSC).

Requirements

• Active US DOD Secret or Higher Security Clearance

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $100,000 - $174,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individuals relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
