Women's Behavioral Health Therapist

UPMC Central Pa. - a growing multi-site health system is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist join our growing team at Women's Behavioral Health Specialists (WBHS). This provider will play an integral role in helping to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients. The WBHS office specifically treats women experiencing anxiety and/or depression related to pregnancy and postpartum. The psychiatrists and therapists at Women's Behavioral Health Specialists help women manage the emotional and behavioral disorders and symptoms related directly to pregnancy and postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, menstrual cycles, perimenopause, and cancer.

About the Position:
  • Provide direct clinical services using a wide variety of mental health treatment modalities including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy
  • Assess and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Perform evaluations and communicate with WBHS psychiatrists, Ob-Gyns, PCPs, and other health care providers throughout the evaluation, treatment, and discharge process
  • Intervene in crisis situations in a timely and efficient manner
  • This position is expected to work at our primary Camp Hill location as well as our secondary Lancaster location.

Professional Skills:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • At least five years of experience, three of which should be post-masters work in psychology or social work.
