Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Workday Quality Engineer (QE) with 7+ years of experience in IT and a focus on Workday HCM and Workday Integrations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in system integration, functional testing, regression testing, and UAT. They will also have hands-on experience working with Workdays core HR modules, integrations, and custom report generation.Key Responsibilities:
Workday HCM Testing: Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Workday HCM, including modules such as Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
Integration Testing: Test inbound and outbound integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and web services technologies (SOAP, REST, XML).
Business Process Testing: Create and execute test scenarios for key Workday processes such as Hire, Job Change, Transfer, Promotion, and Termination.
Custom Reports: Configure and test Workday reports, including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, and Composite Reports.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance/load testing using tools like LoadRunner to ensure the scalability of Workday applications.
Security and Configuration: Configure and validate Workday security roles and groups, ensuring appropriate access control and segregation of duties.
Support and Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for Workday HCM and integrations, including enhancements and troubleshooting.
Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and documentation for all testing activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, end users, and development teams to ensure proper testing, alignment with business requirements, and successful project delivery.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
7+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years focused on Workday HCM and Workday Integrations.
Strong knowledge of Workday modules including Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Management, and Benefits.
Proficient in testing EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and integrations with third-party applications.
Hands-on experience with Workday Report Writer, Workday Report Designer, and custom report creation.
Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
Solid experience in manual and automated testing, including UAT and system integration testing.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in Workday environments, with a focus on data integrity and system performance.
Salary Range : $70,000-$125,000 a year
