Location: Chicago - Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 remote)
Compensation: $120K-$145K + Bonus Potential (Origination, Hours)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law and a proven track record of success in defense litigation. This role will focus on providing high-quality legal representation to our clients while also contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. 2100 billable hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of workers' compensation defense cases.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with client objectives.
- Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients regarding workers' compensation matters.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure optimal case management.
- Mentor and train junior attorneys and staff in workers' compensation law.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- 2100 billable hours.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensure in Illinois required, licensure in Indiana is a plus!
- 6+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense, personal injury defense
- Having a book of business is a huge plus.
- Proven track record of successful litigation and case management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
