JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Workforce Management Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application maintenance and support, with expertise in various technologies including Databricks, Azure, Java/Spring, Blue Yonder WFM, and SQL. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing workforce management systems, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain WFM databases and reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
Manage and optimize code repositories using GitHub, ensuring efficient version control and collaboration.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, including compute, storage, and networking.
Automate workflows and processes using StackStorm, integrating various tools and services for seamless operations.
Monitor and analyze application and infrastructure performance using New Relic, providing actionable insights for optimization.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to code, infrastructure, and performance monitoring.
Document processes and best practices for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Monitor application performance and ensure availability as per SLAs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot application-related issues (L1/L2/L3 support).
Provide root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Log and track incidents using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
Work with developers to analyze and fix defects.
Perform minor enhancements and configurations as required.
Test patches and updates before deployment.
Monitor logs, databases, and system health metrics.
Optimize queries and scripts to improve application performance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Application Maintenance / Support.
Strong proficiency in Databricks, Azure, Java/Spring, Blue Yonder WFM (Web and Mobile), and SQL.
Experience with cloud infrastructure management, particularly on Azure.
Expertise in version control systems, particularly GitHub.
Familiarity with automation tools such as StackStorm.
Experience with performance monitoring tools, particularly New Relic.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
