Description:

As Workplace Operations, Fremont Factory, you will be playing a critical role in Workplace Operations. You will manage a team of associates working different shifts, assign and prioritize daily tickets and handle escalations with strong business acumen. You will own your own workplace projects by collaborating closely with workplace planning and internal construction teams. The ideal candidate will have the discipline to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and being self-motivated to tackle hard problems. You will manage the cost and inventory for all furniture in Fremont Factory and collaborate with other Workplace teams and carryout factory-wide initiatives with occasional travel amongst Bay Area Manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency and Flexibility: Support day-to-day operations across both A and B shift teams, managing furniture, events, and project requests during extended hours (M-F, 5am-9:30pm), even during urgent escalations
  • KPI Management and Team Performance: Oversee ticket completion KPIs and collaborate with the data analytics team to create a dashboard tracking team productivity metrics
  • Workspace Auditing and Maintenance: Conduct weekly audits of all people spaces in the factory, replacing broken or worn furniture/equipment to maintain a high standard of workplace quality
  • Optimized Scheduling and Communication: Effectively schedule staff, manage OT and leave policies, and facilitate clear communication through shift pass downs to align the team
  • Enforcement of Safety Standards and Problem Resolution: Implement 5S and safety initiatives while resolving technical or personnel issues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Effective Team Leadership and Resource Allocation: Lead 6 associates and allocate resources efficiently by prioritizing ticket assignments and ensuring timely, quality completion


Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours across multiple shifts (A and B) and handle high volumes of operational requests
  • Experience in KPI tracking and performance management, including working with data teams to build dashboards
  • Strong attention to detail in auditing physical workspaces and proactively maintaining equipment and furniture
  • Skills in staff scheduling, labor compliance (OT, meal premiums), and maintaining transparent team communication
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards, including 5S methodology and issue resolution best practices
  • Proven leadership experience in managing frontline associates and prioritizing operational tasks based on business needs

      $68,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
