Description:
The Facilities & Corporate Services Manager provides leadership and management for the facility and corporate services functions. This role is responsible for overall management of the facility and is expected to implement best practices while providing an exceptional workplace for associates. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to supporting the day to day office functions of a fast paced business environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Plans the work of staff, delegates work, ensures work is completed accurately and on time.
Oversee maintenance of facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, AV etc.
Responsible for facility service review, audits and corrective action
Responsible for directing and scheduling projects insuring they are completed on time and within budget, including the development of scope, management of bids, contract coordination, vendor set up and procurement.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Responsible for space planning and management, executing associate moves, renovations and installations of facilities assets and equipment
Maintain and support office audio visual program
Responsible for building emergencies
Coordinate and setup resources for employee office social events and town hall meetings on and off site
Interface with facility vendors and building personnel
Identify and manage associates amenities.
Develop and manage site budget, responsible for controlling operating expenses within budgetary guidelines and makes recommendations for cost effective reductions
Manage, mentor and develop Facilities staff
Qualifications:
Previous facilities or corporate services experience is a must 5+ years
Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM)credential a plus
Understanding of general accounting practices and processes
Familiarity with the use of facility management software (IWMS)
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Willingness to take initiative and resolve problems
Knowledge of facilities management, furniture, space planning and building systems with 5+ years' experience in a high growth company
Service oriented with strong communication skills both oral and written. Ability to interface with associates at all levels
Self-motivated, proactive team leader - STRONG project management skills
Proven skill in strategic planning, forecasting and annual budgeting
Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationships and influence customers, both internal and external
Expert understanding of employee services including, conference center operation, and group meetings
Proven ability to work with and motivate outside vendors
Detail oriented and results driven
Proficient in MS Office Suite
