About St Francis Xavier College

St Francis Xavier College is a comprehensive Year 7 to 12 secondary school. Teachers are expert practitioners in the design and delivery of the Australian Curriculum and ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) courses. About the Role

The Year Coordinator provides expert leadership in pastoral care and student wellbeing of a year group from Years 7 -12 utilising best practice in current research, evidence and innovation to meet the needs of all learners. As a member of the Pastoral Leadership team, the Year Coordinator reports to the Assistant Principal Student Wellbeing and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College. The successful applicant will be an experienced educator with demonstrated successful experience as a secondary teacher and that possess initiative, integrity and vision.

A vacancy will later be advertised for permanent filling in 2026.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
