About Us: We are working with a leading global mid-market investment bank, providing advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and valuations. Their Portfolio Valuations team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, independent valuation services to private equity firms, hedge funds, and other investment managers.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join their Portfolio Valuations team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and executing valuation engagements, leading client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage valuation engagements for a variety of portfolio companies across different industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support valuation conclusions.
  • Prepare and present detailed valuation reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive advisory services to clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in valuation methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in valuation, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
  • Knowledge of UK and European market dynamics is a plus.
