K-12 Specialist (Food Broker)Affinity Group is seeking a K-12 Specialist to make their mark in ourLouisiana and Mississippimarkets.This position will report to the Director of K-12 Sales.Who we're looking for:As a K-12 Specialist, you will drive sales development within an assigned market, focusing on prospecting, lead generation, managing the sales pipeline, and influencing decision-makers to enhance K-12 nutrition programs. Success in this role requires a track record of achievement in business development, consultative selling, and account relationship management. The candidate must possess an active Drivers License and a clean driving recordQualifications:3-5 years of experience in foodservice brokerage or distribution sales, preferably in the K-12 sectorBackground in K-12 education or foodservice is highly valued; culinary or operations experience is a plusBachelors degree is preferred but not requiredExceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectivelySelf-motivated with a strong drive to achieve resultsExcellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and foster relationshipsHigh emotional intelligence and proven success in developing strong partnershipsValid drivers license, reliable transportation, and flexibility for daily travel; some overnight stays required for industry eventsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Management SystemsBonus points for:Associate or bachelor's degreeThe Affinity Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
