Our client is currently seeking a Director of R&D - Greases/LubricantsDegreein Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field15-20Years of Hands-On Experience in R&D working in a grease (automotive),fluid lubricant (automotive and industrial), or fuel additive labenvironment or production setting.5+years of management experience, with a proven track record to: supervisepersonnel, plan and control operating budget, establish department goalsand priorities, meet department goals and priorities, develop long andshort-range plans.Expertisein Grease or Lubricant Chemistry and have experience with product andprocess development, technical project management, and technicalassistance to manufacturing sales.Knowledgeof Tribology & RheologyExperiencewith strategic planning/assess development plans and goals regardingmarkets/existing productsExperience:Ensuringthe overall R&D needs of a Lubricants business are met.Ensurethat product research and design, product optimization, andtechnical/analytical support is providedBeingresponsible for new product/process development in the field oflubricants of interest to the corporation - automotive lubricants andgreases, industrial lubricants and greases, metalworking fluids andcoolants, lubricant performance additives, and fuel additives.Puttingtogether the bigger picture/constraints/work with sales and operations onthe product whole
