Vice President, Operations (RDW)

VP Operations----our client is a privately-owned food manufacturer. They are one of the leading companies in the snack food category in the country. Because of recent growth within the company, they are looking for an accomplished supply chain professional who can assist with this growth while driving change within the organization. This person will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations for their flagship site. This will include manufacturing, logistics, planning, engineering and human resources. They will also be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic supply chain action plans to support the current and future company goals and initiatives. This opportunity will be based out of the company?s site in the greater Rockford, IL area. They will report directly to the COO for the company. This role requires someone who has the experience and knowledge but who isn?t afraid to roll up their sleeves and a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Here are a few minimum qualifications for the right person. ? Bachelor?s degree in related field or equivalent work experience ? Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with all levels within the organization ? Knowledge in all phases of supply chain ? Change agent, solid continuous improvement background ?
