Job Description:Supreme Meat Purveyors is a leading meat processing company based in San Antonio, Tx. Currently expanding its operations and is looking for talented professionals to join the team.Responsibilities:Oversee production operations and manage designated production teamEnsure that all processes meet quality and safety standardsEstablish and maintain policies, procedures, and programsManage regulatory guidance, training, and complianceAdhere to food safety compliance, HACCP regulations, Supreme Meat Purveyors internal rules and regulations.Develop corrective and preventive action plansCoordinate manufacturing activities with other facility functionsManage designated operation areas and cover others if need it in special situationsManage multiple priorities and meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlinesControl cost through yields and people productivity by lb/hour produced.Schedule production plan in advance, monitor its execution and report the result.Identify problematic areas and suggest solutions to Plant ManagerEmployee will be working regularly in a cold environment (35-40 Degrees)Be able to work occasionally on weekends if projects require it.Requirements:3 or more years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.Able towork with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)Knowledgeable in HACCP preferable.Meat process experience is preferable.Strong written and oral interpersonal and communication skills.Experience looking at safe work practices, GMPs, preventive and corrective actions, root analysis investigation techniques.Ability to facilitate efficient cooperation between departments.Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.Experienced professional with excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to interact and work well with a diverse group of people and departmental functions inside the organization.Ability to assess, prioritize and resolve plan issues.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondenceFlexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a work team
