We give you the high charge of helping develop and present customer connected commerce, providing financial analysis, leveraging analytical data/insights, and developing category plans to achieve overall category growth around sales, market share, and profit objectives. You?ll partner closely with a Category Manager to grow the category in a variety of ways, including physical and digital environments. Your collective experiences at Purina will far surpass your achievements in growing category sales.Deliver consistent, detailed, and accurate category analysis (4P) overview Provide timely, value-added insights, and recommendations to the customer that develops proper relations, rapport, and helps achieve category and customer objectivesUtilize syndicated data, consumer data (loyalty and point of sale), internal data, and shopper data to uncover opportunities and provide analytical recommendations Lead the work on setting the visual store set and digital shelf recommendationsOwn Modular (plan-o-gram) item maintenance to ensure data integrityAssist in the development and implementation of strategic connected commerce business plans, including business, market, competitive, and shopper trendsPartner with Category Managers to perform connected commerce/brand analysis for the retail customerRequirementsBachelor?s Degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience in category development, business analytics, sales, or marketingOther1+ years of experience in category development, business analytics, store/merchandising/distribution, or marketing is preferred1+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups is preferred Experience working on Digital/eCommerce is preferredExperience with syndicated and shopper data (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, VIQ, CKB, RSI, and PowerBI) is preferredExperience working with larger retailers is preferredJDA (or other space management) skills is preferredMust be able to travel up to 15%, or as business needs requireThe approximate pay range for this position is $70,000 to $87,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
