Title: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Boston, MA (Hybrid - 2 days/week)Duration: 15+ Months (Possibility of Extension)Position Summary:Theclient is looking for senior project manager with at least ten years ofexperience to support the implementation of technology initiatives. Theposition requires the ability to understand business needs and functions,liaise with subject manager experts and multiple third-party vendors,review project and requirements documentation and perform impactassessments. Experience with software development lifecycles,implementations, integrations, along with strong project and taskmanagement are essential.Thisrole manages, plans and organizes all activities of a large ITimplementation project. Duties include:Manageprojects with multiple complex parallel work tracks; oversee multipleproject components to ensure proper management and delivery; create,maintain and manage multi-vendor project plans; ensure that users andproject team members roles and responsibilities are defined; coordinateand monitor activities to ensure project is completed on time and withinbudget; ensures that user requirements, deliverables and approvals aredefined and documented; communicate project status; promote use of PMIbest practices; ensure the delivery of a product that meets userrequirements.Thisrole must be able to direct technical staff and manage the activities ofall aspects of the project life cycle. Understands complex technicalscenarios and requirements and can ferret out obstacles to progress andsuggest alternative strategies and directions. Responsible for reportingstatus of a project to Senior IT and Business Management, including thearticulation of impediments, risk analysis, risk mitigations, timeline andbudget impacts.Responsibilities:Serve asprimary point of contact for the client regarding project management andimplementation of third-party vendor solutionsWork withthird-party vendors to review and identify impacts and dependencies acrossproject plansFacilitateproject status meetings with internal stakeholders and third-party vendorsand capture action itemsDevelop andmaintain an integrated implementation schedule with goals, milestones andall aspects of SDLCPerformimpact analysis for any schedule and milestone changes and maintains issuelogsRepresentthe client in project planning meetings with third-party vendors andidentify implementation tasks for the projectLiaise withthird-party vendors and agency SME's to support project planning,implementation planning, testing, triage and issue resolutionIdentify,triage and solves project issues and perform Go-live readiness assessmentsWork withthe internal and external implementation leads to address project issuesand mitigate risk.Strongorganizational, presentation, analytical and customer service skills.May overseebusiness analysts assigned to projects.Qualifications:Bachelor'sDegree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.Minimum 5-10years of project management experienceMinimumof 5 years of business analyst experienceFormerlocal, state, and federal government experience preferredExperiencewith State Based Marketplaces preferredProficiencyin the following MS Project, MS Office 365
