Director Supply Management

Job Title: Director of Supply ManagementCompany: Supply Chain company supporting a global foodservice brand.Location: Greater Atlanta, GACompensation: $140k - $180k + bonus.Job Summary: TheDirector of Supply Managementreports to the COO and will play a pivotal leadership role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, overseeing a growing team motivated supply professionals. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of supply management within the organization building structure, refining processes, and driving performance across the supplier and distribution network.Balancing data-driven analysis with strong interpersonal skills, the Director will convert brand forecasts into supplier purchase plans, manage inventory levels, and ensure successful execution of Limited-Time Offers (LTOs). A key part of the role is mentoring and developing a young, eager team empowering them to think proactively, take ownership, and grow their capabilities.This role is ideal for a data-driven and strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain excellence, a knack for relationship-building, and a desire to lead transformative change.Job Requirements:Experience: Proven leadership experience in FOOD INDUSTRY supply chain management, inventory planning, or procurement. Strong preference for experience in QSR or food service.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on data-driven insights.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for supplier and internal team coordination.Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain software, forecasting tools, and data analytics.Leadership: Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and distribution partners.Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and adjust supplier inventory levels proactively.Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% (a little more at the start).
