Manages the day-to-day activities of team members, providing subject matter guidance and quality reviews as required. The key aspects of this role will entail performing risk assessments, internal controls evaluation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within Corporate Accounting & Reporting and the business. The individual in this role will gain broad exposure to the business and processes by performing the following duties.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the company's ICFR testing program.
- Perform risk assessments of key accounts, financial reporting processes and information systems, and assist in determining the scope of the annual ICFR assessment process, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Partner with cross-functional teams within Corporate Accounting & Reporting and the divisions to evaluate accounting matters, business initiatives, policies, and processes, and apply professional judgement to assess risks and the controls environment.
- Evaluate the design of controls, develop test approach, and ensure workpapers reflect a high level of quality.
- Determine work priorities for staff, mentor less experienced colleagues, and provide feedback as needed.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the business and the external auditor.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate potential findings.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to internal processes.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Support department objectives and perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, such as public accounting, internal audit, or controls and compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC rules and regulations
- Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and work well within a team and individually
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
