Job Description
The Financial Systems Director is responsible for the management and support of the technology architecture, hardware, software, and respective resources within Aramark.
Provides application software development services, technical support, program logic development in a diverse development platform environment. Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented while coordinating activities with other IT groups
Provides IT leadership to Managers, Supervisors and/or Professional employees in multiple IT disciplines. Responsible for the formulation, integration and deployment of strategic IT programs in support of critical base-business initiatives. This includes alignment with the business strategy & objectives, engineering of the solution design, partner management and total program management (cost / schedule / issues / integration / implementation) in support of base-business growth strategies.
Job Responsibilities
Lead a Global team of Oracle EBS functional analysts in financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, PA, OTL)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle EBS with other enterprise applications, database, and third-party systems
Plan and execute on financial system implementations by onboarding existing operations or acquisitions
Execute on functional design, integration design, configuration, and solutions that meet business needs
Design reliable, accurate, and purpose-built solutions.
Execute on projects, requests, enhancements, strategic changes, and 5-year roadmap
Responsible for coordinating upgrades and patching with DBA team, technical team, functional team, and end users
Make performance improvements and system optimization to ensure efficiency operations
Maintain internal, external, and SOX audit controls, monitor for deficiencies, and provide evidence of control monitoring
Work with team to create and maintain functional requirements, test cases, and configuration documentation
Work with third party service providers as needed
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle EBS by working with both internal and external partners
Stay up-to-date on industry treads, new technologies, and best practices for Oracle EBS and financial ERP landscape.
Qualifications
Requires 7-10+ years of relevant experience, with over 10 years of experience in technology. Expertise in the Oracle eBusiness Suite technology platform is required. Proven analysis and leadership skills with experience is required. Must have experience as an architect with Oracle EBS platform.
Education
BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Business Systems or equivalent area of study/experience. Advanced degree is desirable.
Supervision
Responsible for providing day-to-day leadership for financial systems, operations and support within the IT department. Plans, assigns and evaluates the work of subordinates for effective operation and results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, creative and critical thinking skills
Strong planning and organization skills
Business process experience within the accounting/finance functional area
Maintains professional composure with an energetic and positive attitude
Time management demonstrating effective multi-tasking
Education
Bachelors preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
