Job Summary
The Communications Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the measurement and analytics framework and strategy to support the Central Division Communications team. This includes building and leading the implementation of an integrated reporting, process, infrastructure, and tools to better measure inputs, outputs, and outcomes across the function including Employee Communications, Public Relations, integrated communications campaigns, and traditional media & social media reporting, partner engagement, and internal benchmarks. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Communications Operations.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze insights and data to inform priorities, strategy, and campaign / communication plan performance
- Use a consistent framework, tools and methods of measurement to track performance.
- Establish a common language and definitions of metrics to enable division wide comparison across campaigns and efforts.
- Create a consistent and highly visual report format and scorecard, process and timeline for each partner group (executives, COE, Region and Creative teams) with the information they need to make decisions.
- Ensure teams use clear and consistent critical metrics across campaigns that ladder up to business impact.
- Develop a set of benchmarks that give the context of the metrics
- Test and optimize the process and infrastructure that allows for learning over time and optimize our communications strategy on how to manage and plan initiatives.
Communications Measurement Strategy & Counsel:- Assesses and understand Division Communications measurement and reporting gaps, and leads the development of roadmap and plan
- Audits current processes and reviews metrics/critical metrics at all levels
- Builds and creates a scalable infrastructure and process to provide consistency, structure, and flexibility.
- Builds standard reporting tools so all partners can easily view, input, store and visualize data and insights to more easily spot trends.
- Builds communications/gr scorecard and database for a holistic view of results across the division and year-over-year tracking capability
- Streamlines vendors and inputs to create stronger efficiencies and consistent approach
- Aligns communications measurement strategy with key business departments (Marketing and Government Relations) in addition to other Division Communication teams.
Agency & Vendor Management:- Manages measurement/reporting vendors and national and local agency partners in the development of communications measurement strategy to support ownership areas
- Monitors and guides agency spend against established budgets to ensure effective resource management
Qualifications:- BA/BS Degree
- Experience working in research/analytics and/or public relations, coordinated marketing or digital/social
- Experience using traditional and social media monitoring tools and related metrics reporting
- Results-oriented with proven experience in leading teams
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail, self-starter
- Creative thinker with strong strategic attitude; solid experience in concept to execution of new ideas
