Leidos is hiring for a Release Train Engineer to serve in a key position on a mission-critical program. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills to ensure delivery of a premier solution to the customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you'll be doing:
  • Provide high level guidance and is overall responsible for technical aspects of the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure cross functional teams deliver value.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement through coordination between the Contractor's development team, the Government Product Owner and key technical stakeholders.

What does Leidos need from me?
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, minimum of five years' experience in software development.
  • Direct experience with large-scale agile (e.g., Disciplined Agile Delivery, Large-scale Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework or Spotify model).
  • One year experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in DoD acquisition processes specifically related to software lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Cyberspace Operations and/or related platforms and environments.

Favorable if you have:
  • Experience working with an Agile software development team, managing project deadlines (ideally in a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Development Lead role).
  • Experience with briefing leadership and/or customers of key status of project progression.
  • Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM ELM).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe RTE or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP).
  • Experience-affecting change in organizations working towards agile adoption.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary development teams.
  • Experience in any part of the software development lifecycle as the developer, tester, analyst, product manager, project/program manager, etc.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $213,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
